At South Redondo Dental Group, our doctors bring a unique blend of expertise, passion, and personalized care to every patient they treat. Dr. Gloria Luong and Dr. Gregory Shvartsman are dedicated to staying at the forefront of modern dentistry, combining their advanced training with a commitment to making each visit comfortable and stress-free. With a shared philosophy of excellence and patient-centered care, they work together to ensure that every smile they treat is as healthy and vibrant as the community they proudly serve.

Born and raised in the San Gabriel Valley, Dr. Gloria Luong brings an exceptional level of skill and dedication to South Redondo Dental Group. She studied Molecular & Cellular Biology at UC Berkeley and earned both her Master of Science in Medical Sciences and Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Western University of Health Sciences. Furthering her expertise, Dr. Luong completed an additional year of training serving veterans at VA West Los Angeles Medical Center.

Beyond dentistry, Dr. Luong is a competitive powerlifter, holding two California bench press records, and enjoys time with her beloved Labrador-Dachshund mix, Milo.

Alongside her is Dr. Gregory Shvartsman, a Seattle native whose passion for dentistry began while volunteering at a free clinic as an undergraduate. Dr. Greg earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the UCLA School of Dentistry and continues to expand his expertise through ongoing education and the latest advancements in dental care.

Now a proud Redondo Beach resident, Dr. Greg loves spending time with his wife, Angela, and their two sons, Russell and Wesley. When he’s not in the office, you’ll find him snowboarding, surfing, paddleboarding, or cheering for the Seahawks.
